Head's Welcome

Rushton CE First School is situated on the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands and Cheshire. It sits centrally in the village of Rushton Spencer, near to the market town of Leek. As a Church of England School we aim to provide a caring, safe and secure environment where Christian values are embedded throughout the children’s school life. Rushton CE First School is part of the Talentum Learning Trust.

Here at Rushton, we focus heavily on developing children’s full potential in all areas of the curriculum and promote positive attitudes towards learning. We believe that children should be happy and confident within the Nursery and School environment and we recognise the importance of respecting one another.

A wide range of extra-curricular activities are available at Rushton, whether it be music, sport, art or gardening, we always encourage our pupils and parents to interact in exciting new ways.
