Rushton CE First School is nestled on the border of the Staffordshire Moorlands and Cheshire, right in the heart of the village of Rushton Spencer, close to the market town of Leek. As a Church of England school, we are committed to creating a nurturing, safe, and welcoming environment where Christian values are woven into every aspect of school life. At Rushton, we place a strong emphasis on helping every child reach their full potential across all areas of the curriculum. We foster a love of learning and encourage positive attitudes, ensuring that children feel happy, confident, and respected throughout their time in Nursery and School.

We provide a broad and balanced learning experience that supports academic achievement while nurturing personal development and a love of learning.
In addition to our core curriculum, we offer pupils opportunities to explore new interests and develop talents beyond the classroom. These activities also encourage meaningful engagement between pupils, parents, and the wider school community.
